Chatuchak Weekend Market, Bangkok
10 Nov 2018
I love street markets; I loathe the crowd.
I do need to get stuff; I'm not a proficient shopper.
The fact that my friends don't like to go shopping with me says it all.
So what's better than getting another not-so-proficient shopper to go shopping with me?
Poor Nat was most gracious in obliging. 😆
Our trip turned out to be surprisingly smooth, getting most of what we needed (and wanted)!
Chatuchak Market is right next to Mo Chit skytrain station.
One of the many food and drinks stalls along the fence of the market. Had our lunch here—phat thai and stir-fried kailan.
A cool T-shirt stall run by a friendly couple. Bought two here for 350 baht. Stall is in section 23 near gate 3.
With around 15,000 stalls around, this stall with wooden products caught my eye!
Bought a wooden holder, took a quick glance and quickly left the stall... One more second in here and I'll end up buying more than what I need!
